GAAS Innovation Courier is a concept exercise of GAAS Africa that is planned to help the economic development of African countries through different activities which focuses on the Youth. The low pace of development in Africa is hugely contributed to by the fact that innovation is very slow and low in Africa. This is not as a result of lack of innovators, thinkers, gifted or talented person in the continent. Instead, it is due to the fact that Africa governments don’t appreciate their talents and skills except for that of foreigners. This compel innovators to move outside Africa in order to deliver what they are worth. GAAS Innovation Courier is a program that invites innovators (mainly youth) to exhibit their skills, talents, creations and further engage them to investors and publicity for the masses to appreciate their skills and talents, and to be supported in different ways. GAAS Africa by the assistance of other individuals, organizations and institutions also funds other innovations of participants for economic development.
GAAS Innovation Courier is categorized under four areas as follows:
GAAS Socio-economic Courier
This section embraces different ideas, concepts and visions about how a community, people, item, system, programs and policies can be innovated (developed, revised, reformed or transformed) for the betterment of a community or country at large. Innovations in this section focuses much on social development and economic development of people and places.
GAAS Science Courier
The GAAS Science Courier welcomes scientific ideas and innovations that treat various problems in Africa communities as well as innovations that improves existing scientific related activities in Africa settlings.
GAAS Technology Courier
GAAS Technology Courier is the section that accepts technological innovations that are not just for fun and pleasure, but rather for serious community development in Africa communities.
GAAS Allied Creation Courier
This category of Innovation Courier embraces all manner of innovations that aim at building or developing lives and communities. In this section, so far as the idea is new to help humanity, it is keenly welcomed.
