Food Section

Sustainable Food Section is prepared to promote the second goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (attempt to end hunger by the year 2030). Hunger in many African Countries rise as a result of lack of crop diversification. Although poverty and political instability are factors that contribute to hunger, but the acceleration of hunger in Africa thrives on the inability of farmers to produce varieties of crops. Many farmers in Africa are accustomed to particular type of crops (which apart from such crops they don’t plant any other thing on their farms). Therefore, when there is abundance of food, it is only with respect to a particular crop or crops. Since crops are always seasonal in Africa, hunger is inevitable when these crops are out of season. Sustainable Foods Section aims at assisting farmers to produce variety of crops on their lands with free education, training and seeds for planting.
